Policies
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
If you are not, simply return the items you don't want in new condition
within 7 days and we will refund your money or exchange the item subject
to return policy below. Dish antennas and auction sales are final and
cannot be returned.
20% restocking fee on returns or exchanges - No returns after 7 days
from order date.
Shipping damages and or shortages must be reported to the carrier within
3 days.
SatManiacs is not responsible for shipping damages. If that there are
issues, we will submit a damaged or lost package claim form with that
carrier. Purchasing the optional insurance upon checkout will guarantee
full replacement value.
All fees will be added to your restock fee. This includes our other
fee and final value fee.
Any package that is authorized for return by our staff MUST have the
RMA # clearly written on the outside of the return package in order
for us to accept it. Any package that is delivered to us with out the
RMA # clearly written on the outside of the packaging will unfortunately
not be accepted in order to limit the amount of lost and misplaced goods.
This policy is for the protection of our customers.
Any problems with hardware beyond our 7 day return policy must be taken
up with the manufacturer. The contact information to most manufacturers
is listed in our Manufacturer Info section located in this add.
All returns that have not been authorized, such as: No One Home, Wrong
Address, Package Refusal, Unclaimed, No Signature, etc. Will be subject
to a restocking/return fee of ALL S&H fees; This fee includes a
portion of paid shipping & handling fees, as well as lost materials
and expenses incurred by SatManiacs in connection with this auction.
If this item is an free shipping item then there will be 20% restocking
fee & all ebay fees on returns or exchanges.

A simple Internet search in Google.com will bring up hundreds of web sites in the FTA satellite hardware and software industry. Some dealers like us are true free-to-air retailers, wholesalers and others are hacking sites. Most of these hacking sites are brave enough to tell the public the truth that if you buy their product it will get free Dish Network in the USA and free Bell ExpressVu out of Canada.
The truth is the software with step-by-step instructions is freely available on the Internet.
The truth is the satellite companies don't like it.
What is frustrating to us is how other dealers can charge for this new software (firmware) that is already freely available on the Internet. Charging for freeware is not right.
